"Music happens to be an art form that transcends language" - Herbie Hancock

Xavier Wells is a bassist, composer, and educator born in the greater Pittsburgh area. Growing up in a musical household—his mother a classical pianist and his father a bassist—Xavier was surrounded by music from an early age.

He began his musical journey on the trumpet in his school band before ultimately finding his true voice on the bass. His involvement in various ensembles sparked an interest in music technology, leading him to explore recording and production with local bands and artists. Music technology has since become a key part of his creative identity, an area he has worked extensively with throughout his undergraduate studies.

Xavier now operates out of Nashville Tennsesse while he is pursuing his master's degree in Audio Engineering from Belmont University.
